The Department of Mathematics was formed in the year 1980 with the inception of the college to teach Mathematics for the pre-degree students of IV th group.The B.Sc. course in Mathematics was started in the year 1993 and M.Sc. in the year 1995. The sanctioned strength of B.Sc. (Mathematics ) is 32 and that of M.Sc. (Mathematics ) is 15. The admission is strictly in accordance with the rules of Govt. of Kerala and University of Calicut.
